Pastor Charles M. Robinson
Rev. Charles M. Robinson was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, and is a native of Harford County, Maryland. After graduating from North Harford High School, he obtained an Associate’s Degree from Harford Community College and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bible from Philadelphia College of Bible. In 2004, he received a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College, Baltimore, Maryland. And, in 2014, earned a Master’s Degree in Christian Leadership from Liberty University.
Rev. Robinson spent 25 years in the military and retired in 2003. During his years of service, he completed numerous training courses and received many military decorations and awards.
He was ordained an Itinerant Elder in the Baltimore Annual Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 1997. He was appointed Pastor of St. Stephen’s A.M.E. Church, Easton (Unionville), Maryland, in 1998 and Robinson A.M.E. Church in April 2006. And, in April of 2011, Pastor Robinson was assigned to Fairview A.M.E. Church. Currently, Rev. Robinson has been the founder and pastor of River of Life Christian Fellowship since 2017.
Rev. Robinson has served on the Talbot County Board of Education Multicultural and Achievement Committee and the Talbot County Minority Ministers in Partnership. Also, he served as a Lead Teacher and Instructor with the Baltimore Annual Conference Board of Examiners and was a member of the Ministerial Alliance of Baltimore and Vicinity, the Maryland Association for Counseling and Development, the American Association of Christian Counselors, and the African American Christian Counselors.
Rev. Robinson’s favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths,” and his favorite song is “Lead Me, Guide Me. He enjoys helping and serving others.
Rev. Robinson is the eldest child of Clarence and Ruth Miller. He is married to Authrine Robinson and has three sons, four grandchildren, and two great-grandsons.
